EDUCATION ON THE FARM
Greendale Acres is committed to teaching students about agriculture and the role it plays in our community. Our Fall Field Trip is primarily a self guided experience with a focus on pumpkins and seasonal harvest. We offer field trips for both private and public schools. Our aim is to provide students with a fun, hands-on learning experience where students can interact with agriculture. Our field trip is semi guided with lots of time to run and play.
There are two field options available. Our Fall Field Trip will run from September 15th until the end of October. The pumpkin learning component is designed for preschool to Grade 4 but all ages are welcome but we offer a self guided experience for all ages. Warm up around a community fire with additional add ons to enhance your farm experience – s’mores, hot chocolate, fires and a special fall field trip concession.
Covid19 – We have taken the time to assess the current school structure and follow guidelines as per the Provincial Health Order.
